Starfish -Trinidad Ocean Ave - Redwoods

What a lovely, comfortable home! No, this is not the glossy, polished, modern sleek property some people look for. It's way better! This is someone's home, a unique blend of a collection of lifetime pieces and a stellar location. At first, you think this is Grandma's house. And maybe it is--in the best possible way. There was such care in the notes about the decor and the piano--don't miss playing if you do. It does indeed have the most lovely sound! I played a few pieces before departing. The house was easy to find, well marked, and check in was seamless. It is spacious, spotlessly clean, and easy to get comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, with freezer space for us to make enough ice for our cooler for several days and had updated countertops over original, classic cupboards. The bed was a queen with quality linens, sturdy wood frame (no movement or squeaking to annoy you) and extra pillows/duvet available. The attached bathroom also had an updated countertop, shower with beautiful water pressure and good hot water after a long day of hiking. We had plenty of towels and soap--hand, dish, shampoo, laundry, etc. We loved having the Washer/Dryer as we needed a quick load done before departing. Location was ideally located to Trinidad downtown which was a super cute town. Quiet spot so no noise issues at all. Host Lynda was kind and very quick to respond to our inquiries. Highly recommend!

We were very pleased with our decision to stay at the Starfish as it was the perfect location for exploring the Redwoods, but with the conveniences and charm of staying in a beautiful, walkable seaside town. The house is very spacious for a 1 bedroom and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and prepare a few meals at home. We found it to be a good value for the location and would definitely stay again.

Starfish was a lovely, clean and tidy respite for us on our West Coast road trip. Walking distance to beaches, cliffs, shops and restaurants. Trinidad is a gem in the area.
